We designed ORBAX as a calmer alternative to typical star projectors, working with a small team of lighting engineers, industrial designers and — importantly — parents. Every choice was tested against a single question: does this settle a room, or does it fill it?
The result is a projector that behaves like a considered piece of furniture. Weighted matte housing. A single power button. A warm amber light calibrated for candlelight, not for a spec sheet.
Made of the same things as everything else we own.
Anodised aluminium. Weighted zinc base. A single machined dial. If it belongs on a nightstand, it should look like the objects already on it — not another moulded plastic gadget.
